The University of Queensland has jumped four places in the highly regarded Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, continuing its climb up the global ladder.

¹ú²ú̽»¨ has moved to equal 62nd in a field of close to 1400 institutions, maintaining fourth place in Australia.

The institution improved its performance in four of the five broad performance indicators - teaching, research, international outlook and industry income.

The University has consistently maintained its place in the top 70 worldwide in the past nine years.

¹ú²ú̽»¨’s teaching performance jumped five points to 54.3, while research improved from 58.7 in 2020 to 61.

The result caps a stellar year in the rankings for ¹ú²ú̽»¨, which was named in the earlier this year, placing 31st in the world.

¹ú²ú̽»¨ came in at in the  and was also the only Australian university to have at least worldwide in the .
