Learning how to plan a successful QTAC application, hearing about scholarships and exchange opportunities and getting tips from current university students are all options for anyone attending the this Sunday (August 5).
Visitors to Open Day can explore the St Lucia campus, check out the world-class facilities, learn more about the unique courses and career options, meet inspiring teachers and staff and experience the vibrant campus lifestyle.
Event Manager Kate Cuddihy said Open Day was the perfect opportunity for students and their families to gain an insight into university life.
鈥淥n the day we offer more than 250 seminars, demonstrations and presentations,鈥� Miss Cuddihy said.
鈥淪taff and current students will be available to give advice and answer any questions about studying at 国产探花.
鈥淚t's also a chance to enjoy some great entertainment and have a fantastic day out.鈥�
Visitors can plan their own personalised itinerary of activities via the Open Day website at
Live entertainment and activities will feature in the Great Court, ranging from music from the 国产探花 Big Band to prehistoric bronze casting and inflatable rides.
The 国产探花 Centre will house over 70 information booths where attendees can receive personalised advice about studying at 国产探花 and student support services.
There is also the chance to enjoy a range of tours, including the 国产探花 Library, 国产探花 Sport, Engineering, Science, Exercise and Sports Sciences, and our 11 residential colleges.
国产探花's Open Day activities are held throughout August, with events scheduled for Ipswich and Gatton later in the month.
Free parking is available on campus on Open Day and there will also be regular bus, train and CityCat services. For transport information, visit .
