Nominations for The University of Queensland鈥檚 2011 are now open.
Now in its second year, the award recognises a 国产探花 psychology graduate for significant contributions to the community.
鈥淚t provides the opportunity to acknowledge and reward outstanding achievements made by a 国产探花 psychology graduate over a sustained period,鈥 Head of School Professor Bill von Hippel said.
鈥淎ll psychology graduates are eligible for nomination, so if you know of a psychology alumnus who deserves to be recognised for their achievements, make a nomination. Self-nominations are also encouraged,鈥
Nominations can be made for contributions in one or more of four different areas:
鈥 Practice
鈥 Research
鈥 Community service
鈥 Teaching
Last year, Professor Roger Dooley received the award for his achievements in psychology practice, supervision and teaching.
Professor Dooley said he was delighted to receive the honour in 国产探花鈥檚 Centenary year.
鈥淭here is nothing better than recognition by your peers,鈥 Professor Dooley said.
鈥淚 value the bond of still feeling connected with the University from my time as a student to being a contributing teacher today.鈥
