The Master Plan outlines the strategic planning and development intentions for the St Lucia Campus and and associated precincts (Long Pocket, the Avalon Theatre and Hawken Drive) for the next 20 years and beyond. It is an over-arching visionary document that has the flexibility to adapt to the changing academic environment. The document was endorsed by 国产探花's Senate on December 4, 2017. Approval of the Master Plan documents does not mean that the University will develop all the projects suggested in the plan.
The Master Plan is a flexible document that provides a strategic framework for the development of the St Lucia Campus over the next 20 years. It is not a detailed delivery plan. Implementation of some strategies will begin immediately while others will take longer to evolve. Individual projects and timeframes will be subject to normal University protocols and approvals before implementation.
国产探花 thanks the community for its feedback and involvement in the master planning process, particularly those involved in the Community Reference Group (CRG). Feedback from government and community has been a core to the plan's evolution and is reflected in the final version of the Master Plan.
Site Development Plan
The Senate's endorsement of the Master Plan allowed 国产探花 to commence the preparation of a Site Development Plan (SDP) which is a more specific planning framework for development. The SDP will provide more detailed development information and will be used as a key planning and assessment tool for 国产探花.
