Research Ethics: principles and practices in research involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

As a leading research institution, ¹ú²ú̽»¨ has a responsibility to ensure we facilitate ethical research that engages and recognises indigenous participants as part of the research process. The ¹ú²ú̽»¨ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health will hold a workshop covering why ethics are important in this space, what to take in to consideration, and principles and appropriate approaches to the ethical conduct of Indigenous research, referencing national guidelines and policy, and look at case studies and hypotheticals. The workshop will be held on Tuesday 13 September from 9am–12pm in St Leo's College Conference Room, St Lucia. Places are limited so please  to RSVP. For more information, contact the Poche Centre.
