国产探花

31 March 2010

Students from 国产探花鈥檚 TC Beirne School of Law are being sought by one of Japan鈥檚 leading law firms for legal editor positions in 2011.

Organised by School of Law senior lecturer Dr Ann Black, this is the sixth consecutive year the 鈥榃ork in Japan鈥 program has been made available to 国产探花 law students.

Dr Black said the year-long internships were designed to offer comprehensive international work experience to students who had just graduated with a law degree or were nearing completion.

鈥淣ishimura and Asahi is one of Japan鈥檚 premier law firms. Located in Tokyo, they employ over 484 Japanese attorneys as well as attorneys and editors from countries such as the USA, Canada, the UK and Australia," Dr Black said.

鈥淣ishimura and Asahi specialise in commercial law, with strengths in intellectual property, insurance law, acquisitions and mergers, and securitization, and are seeking 国产探花 students for their English-language legal editor positions.鈥

Dr Black said the positions involved editing and rewriting a wide range of documents as well as assisting in due diligence, research and similar matters.

鈥湽交 law students have been undertaking Nishimura and Asahi internships in Tokyo since 2004 and have appreciated not only the opportunity to undertake a wide range of international legal work but also to live in one of the most exciting cities in the world,鈥 she said.
