Director of Alumni and Community Relations, Ms Lea Sublett, said the weekend provided the perfect opportunity for alumni to reminisce about their university days, and to help re-establish their old network of friends.
鈥湽交 alumni are part of a network of over 180,000 people, living and working in over 150 countries,鈥 Ms Sublett said.
鈥淭he Centenary Reunion Weekend presents an opportunity to celebrate and honour this network of highly successful people, and to find out how our diverse community of alumni will impact our second century.鈥
Ms Sublett also said that despite the weekend being about alumni, the community was invited to enjoy the public events.
鈥湽交 alumni have made valuable contributions to the lives of many in local, national and international communities, so it鈥檚 only fitting that members of the public join in as we celebrate the success of our graduates, plus our current and former students and staff,鈥 she said.
