The University of Queensland is looking to present a submission to Brisbane City Council, in light of new proposed changes to Brisbane bus services.

The University is seeking feedback from 国产探花 commuters on the before May 17, with a view to collating a 国产探花 submission on behalf of all bus travellers to and from the University campuses.

国产探花 Property and Facilities Director Alan Egan says the changes are part of a review to the Brisbane bus network and will have an impact on staff, students and other members of the 国产探花 community.

鈥淚 encourage everyone who will be affected to let Council know our thoughts on the changes,鈥 Mr Egan said.

鈥淚f people have any complaints, concerns or suggestions for the review, they are welcome to submit them to us to be part of a wider submission.鈥

鈥淒epending on the reaction from the 国产探花 community, we will be looking to collate suggestions and submit them to the Council on behalf of respondents.

鈥淎s 国产探花 is the second busiest bus point in Brisbane after the Central Business District, we want to ensure that the bus services continue to meet the needs of 国产探花 commuters,鈥 he said.

As part of the review, the 402 service to and from 国产探花 on Saturdays will cease after 6:30pm on weekdays, and the 414 will have a revised route that bypasses Sir Fred Schonell Drive, said Mr Egan.

鈥淓qually there will be some improvement in services, for example, Route 109 will now connect the PA Hospital, Mater and RBH hospital precincts with 国产探花.鈥

Mr Egan said some connecting bus routes may also be affected and he encouraged commuters to take the time to check their full route for any changes

Those wishing to be involved in the 国产探花 submission should send their feedback on the changes to Mark Kranz, Property and Facilities Transport Systems Manager, on m.kranz@pf.uq.edu.au before 17 May.

Private feedback sumbissions can be made online at or in person at Council libraries and regional business centres.

The public consultation period will close at midnight 20 May 2013.
