The University of Queensland will host the next in June 2019, which will bring staff and students from some of the world’s leading technological universities to St Lucia campus.

from the said hosting the event provided an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with other universities.

“This event will allow our students to gain international experience, by bringing top students from around the world to our campus for a two-week workshop,” he said.

The annual Innovation Workshop gives students hands-on experience in collaboration, as they conduct an in-depth study of how best to advance emerging technologies.

Six 国产探花 engineering students recently returned from Copenhagen, where they took part in this year’s Innovation Workshop at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

It was the first time 国产探花 attended with fourth year students joining representatives from leading universities including and DTU.

During the two-weeks students worked on six different research projects relating to nanotechnology and engineering sustainability.

Chemical Engineering student Anthony Hay said the workshop was good preparation for the workforce.

“It was a great mixture of hard work, companionship, learning and discussions, which I feel has changed and improved the way I think about and approach problems under strict time pressures.”

国产探花’s Industry Engagement Academic Beverly Coulter accompanied students to the workshop.

“They were challenged but were able to deliver and present work of real value to the DTU academics,” she said.
