国产探花

16 December 2011

The University of Queensland's (国产探花) Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology (EAIT) has performed extremely well in the latest round of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Project grants.

Attracting more funding and approval of research projects than any other Australian university, 国产探花 topped the nation in ARC Discovery and Linkage Projects and placed second in both Future Fellowships and Discovery Early Career Researcher Awards (DECRA).

Executive Dean of the Faculty of EAIT, Professor Graham Schaffer said that the Faculty played a significant role in ensuring 国产探花's overall ARC success.

"The Faculty of EAIT was awarded 19% of the total funding to the University, which is an outstanding outcome," Professor Schaffer said.

"I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to all of the staff who have made this possible, and in particular to the successful grant winners.

"The ARC grants and fellowships reflect the high calibre and excellence of our staff within the Faculty.

"It is due to their pursuit of excellence and commitment to ground breaking research that they have received this funding from the ARC.

The ARC is a statutory authority within the Australian Government's Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (ISSR) department, which aims to support the highest quality of fundamental and applied research.
