Throughout January and February The University of Queensland Ipswich Campus will host free tours for prospective students, their families and friends, and interested members of the public.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor Ipswich Professor Alan Rix said tours would run on weekdays (excluding public holidays), beginning January 10, for individuals, families or groups.
The tours are designed to give visitors an insight into studying at the Ipswich Campus, including its state-of-the-art facilities and picturesque grounds.
鈥淭hey will introduce potential students or interested visitors to the University environment,鈥 Professor Rix said.
鈥淎ll visitors will receive information about studying at the Ipswich Campus.鈥
Those wishing to take part in a campus tour should telephone the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Ipswich during business hours on 3381 1002. Tours will initially be held on an as-needs basis and will take approximately one hour to complete.
Participants are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes and to bring a hat.
Professor Rix said the University was always pleased to welcome visitors to the Ipswich Campus.
